Request step-up authentication

POST/payroll/self-service/challenge

Initiates a step-up authentication challenge for the employee before allowing access to sensitive payroll data (e.g. payslip PDFs, tax documents). Returns a challenge token to complete in the authentication flow.

Request

This endpoint takes no parameters and no request body.

challenge_token	string	No	Short-lived token to present to the step-up authentication endpoint.
expires_in	integer	No	Seconds until the challenge token expires.
