Quick start
Everything you need before you connect the first site. About five minutes end to end — the longest part is finding the credential.
Gather the credential first. What each connector needs lists exactly what every connector asks for, so you can collect it up front instead of discovering a missing token halfway through.
Step 1: Create a workspace
Sign in through Faciotech ID. A workspace holds your sources, schedules and storage, and your plan attaches to the workspace rather than to any one site.
The trial runs for 14 days and does not require a card.
Step 2: Connect your first source
Pick the connector that matches where the site lives and paste in a scoped credential. Nothing is stored in plaintext, including in our logs.

Step 3: Choose a schedule and retention
Schedules run hourly, daily or weekly, set per source rather than per workspace, so a busy shop and a brochure site do not have to share a cadence.
Retention keeps generations side by side. The daily, weekly, monthly and yearly tiers run together, so you keep recent granularity without paying to store every hour forever.
Step 4: Watch the first run verify
The run captures, encrypts and uploads, then restores into a sandbox and checks it. Only then does it appear as a restore point.
A backup that has never been restored is a guess. Verification is what turns the run into something you can rely on, which is why the restore point does not exist until the check has passed.
Step 5: Restore it somewhere harmless
Restore to a new location once, before you need to. It is the only way to know the whole loop works, and it costs nothing.
Do the practice restore on a day when nothing is on fire. Restoring for the first time during an incident means learning the process and losing the site at the same moment.
