We are hiring a Live Chat Support Agent to be the first point of contact for customers reaching out through our live chat system. This is a paid, part-time role based on hours worked — a great opportunity if you enjoy helping people and communicating clearly in writing.

What you will do

  • Respond to incoming customer chats in real time via chat.faciotech.com.
  • Answer common questions about our hosting plans, billing, domains, and account setup.
  • Guide customers through basic troubleshooting steps (DNS, email, cPanel, SSL).
  • Escalate technical issues to the appropriate team with clear context and notes.
  • Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful tone in every conversation.
  • Document recurring questions and suggest improvements to help articles or canned responses.

What we are looking for

  • Excellent written English — clear, concise, and professional.
  • Friendly and patient communication style, even under pressure.
  • Comfortable typing quickly and managing multiple chat conversations.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new tools fast.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for focused work.
  • Available for scheduled shifts (we will agree on hours that work for both sides).

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in customer support, help desk, or live chat.
  • Familiarity with web hosting concepts (shared hosting, VPS, domains, DNS, SSL).
  • Experience with ticketing or chat systems (Zendesk, LiveChat, Intercom, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of cPanel, email configuration, or WordPress.

Tools you will use

  • Faciotech Live Chat (chat.faciotech.com) — our in-house real-time chat platform.
  • WHMCS — to look up customer accounts, orders, and tickets when needed.
  • Knowledge Base — to reference help articles and share links with customers.

Compensation & terms

  • Type: Part-time, paid based on hours worked.
  • Location: Remote within Ghana.
  • Schedule: Shift-based — we will agree on a schedule that covers key support hours.
