What You Can Monitor
The monitoring system supports multiple check types so you can cover every angle:
- HTTP / HTTPS — Verify your website loads correctly and returns the expected status code. Track response times and detect slowdowns before they become outages.
- Ping — Check whether your server is reachable on the network. Useful for detecting connectivity issues at the infrastructure level.
- Port — Monitor specific ports (e.g., 3306 for MySQL, 22 for SSH, 587 for SMTP) to ensure critical services are running.
- DNS — Verify that your domain resolves correctly. Detect DNS propagation issues or hijacking attempts early.

How to Get Started
- Log in to your Faciotech client area
- Navigate to Server Monitor in the left sidebar
- Click Add Monitor and enter your website URL or server details
- Configure your check interval, alert preferences, and notification contacts
- Save — monitoring begins immediately
