Monitor Your Website 24/7: Free Uptime Monitoring for All Hosting Clients
Free uptime monitoring is now included for every Faciotech hosting client: round-the-clock checks on your site, ports, DNS and SSL, with instant alerts.
ACCRA, Ghana, 10 March 2026. Faciotech has made website and server monitoring available to every hosting client from inside the client area. Six monitor types run around the clock from multiple locations, and alerts go out by email, SMS or webhook within seconds of a failed check.

The same monitoring surface Faciotech runs behind FTStatus: live checks, response times and uptime history.
Free uptime monitoring, built into your client area
Most website owners find out they are down when a customer tells them, or when they happen to look. Every one of those minutes costs visitors, orders and credibility. Monitoring now sits in the same client area you use for billing and support, so there is nothing to install and no second service to sign up for.
The free Monitor Lite plan is available to every Faciotech hosting client: five monitors, checks every ten minutes, 24 hours of log history, alerts by email, SMS and webhook, and full REST API access. No credit card, no trial expiry.
“Learning that your site is down from a customer is the worst possible way to find out, and I do not accept that being told promptly should be a paid extra. Every Faciotech hosting client now gets monitoring at no cost, running on the same checks we point at our own services.”
Urbanus Azupogo, Founder, Faciotech
Six monitor types: HTTP, ping, port, DNS, SSL and response time
- HTTP / HTTPS: confirms your site loads and returns the status code you expect, not a blank page or a 500.
- Ping / ICMP: confirms the server is reachable on the network, which separates a hosting problem from an application problem.
- Port: watches a specific service port, such as 3306 for MySQL, 22 for SSH or 587 for mail submission, so you learn that the database is down before your customers do.
- DNS: confirms your domain still resolves to the record it should, catching propagation faults and unauthorised changes early.
- SSL certificate: tracks the expiry date and warns you in advance, so no visitor ever meets a browser security warning on your site.
- Response time: records how long each check takes, so you can see a site getting slower weeks before it goes down.
Alerts by email, SMS and webhook
When a check fails, the alert goes out immediately: to your inbox, to your phone by SMS, or to a webhook endpoint feeding Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams or your own system. Escalation policies let you decide who hears about it first and who is told if nobody responds. Maintenance windows suppress alerts during planned work, so a scheduled update at midnight does not wake anyone.
Incident history, response-time graphs and status pages
Every monitor keeps a record you can go back to: uptime percentage over the period you choose, response-time graphs that show performance trends, and an incident timeline with the duration of each outage and room for your own notes. A REST API lets developers pull the same data into their own dashboards or automation, and your data can be exported at any time.
Paid plans add public status pages, so you can publish live uptime for the monitors you choose and send customers there instead of answering the same question by ticket.
What the paid uptime monitoring plans add
Monitor Pro, Business and Enterprise raise the ceiling as your estate grows: more monitors, check intervals down to one minute, log retention up to three months, and up to ten status pages. The full comparison is on the Faciotech server monitoring page, and plans can be changed or cancelled at any time.
How to add your first website monitor
- Log in to your Faciotech client area
- Open Server Monitor in the sidebar
- Choose Add Monitor and enter your website URL or server details
- Set the check interval, alert contacts and any maintenance windows
- Save, and the first check runs straight away
If you already host with Faciotech, monitoring is enabled on your account: there is nothing to buy and nothing to activate. Monitoring sits alongside hosting, domains and the rest of the estate in the Faciotech apps directory. For help setting up a first monitor, open a support ticket.
