Starting 1st September 2025, we will be updating our free domain policy to align with industry-standard practices. Going forward, free domain registration will be available exclusively as a first-year offer for new hosting purchases.
This means that complimentary domain renewals for existing hosting accounts will no longer be available. When your domain comes up for renewal, it will be billed at our standard renewal rates.

Like most hosting providers in the industry, we're transitioning to a first-year promotional model for free domains. This adjustment allows us to continue investing in reliable hosting infrastructure, quality customer support, and improved services for all our clients while maintaining sustainable pricing.
What This Means For You
If you've been enjoying a free domain renewal with your hosting package, your domain will now be invoiced at the standard renewal rate when it's due for renewal after 1st September 2025. You don't need to take any immediate action—we'll send you a renewal notification before your domain expires, giving you plenty of time to complete the renewal.

- How much will my domain renewal cost? Domain renewal prices vary depending on the domain extension (.com, .net, .org, .com.gh, etc.). You can view our current domain pricing in the domains section of your client area, or feel free to contact our support team for specific rates.
- Will I receive a notification before my domain is due for renewal? Yes, you will. Our system automatically sends renewal reminders via email before your domain expires. This gives you sufficient time to renew and ensures you don't lose your domain unintentionally.
- Can I transfer my domain to a different registrar if I prefer? Yes, you are free to transfer your domain to any registrar of your choice at any time. If you decide to go this route, simply contact our support team and we'll provide you with your domain's authorization (EPP) code.
- What happens if I choose not to renew my domain? If your domain is not renewed before its expiry date, it will enter a grace period during which you can still renew it (sometimes with an additional fee). After the grace period, the domain may be released and become available for anyone to register. We strongly recommend renewing on time to avoid losing your domain name.
- Does this policy change affect my hosting service in any way? No, it does not. Your hosting plan, features, storage, bandwidth, and all other benefits remain exactly the same. The only change is to the complimentary domain renewal benefit.
