How to order a shared web hosting package

Ordering a shared hosting plan takes a few minutes. The order form has three steps — Choose domain, Configure, and Review & pay — and you can go back to any earlier step before you pay.

Step 1 — Pick a plan

Open the shared hosting plans page, compare the plans, and click Get Started on the one you want.

Every plan includes a free SSL certificate, free migration from your current host, and a 30‑day money‑back guarantee. If you are not sure which to choose, start with a smaller plan — you can upgrade later without moving your website.

Step 2 — Choose your domain

Next, tell us which domain the hosting is for. There are three tabs:

  • Register a new domain — search for a domain you do not own yet and register it with us.
  • Transfer my domain — move a domain you already own from another registrar to Faciotech.
  • I already own one — keep your domain where it is registered and just point it at your new hosting.

Free domain for the first year. Several plans include a free domain registration for the first year on .com, .net and .org. When your plan includes it, the domain shows as $0.00 in the order summary.

Step 3 — Configure the plan

On the Configure step you choose how you want the account set up. The order summary on the right updates as you change things, so you can always see what you will pay.

  • Choose Billing Cycle — monthly through to three years. Longer cycles have a lower monthly rate, so the 12, 24 and 36‑month options cost less per month than paying monthly.
  • Control Panel — cPanel or DirectAdmin. Both manage files, email and databases; pick the one you know. If you have no preference, leave the default.
  • Server Location — where your website is hosted. Choose the location closest to most of your visitors.
  • Optional extras — a commercial SSL certificate, a dedicated IP address, server monitoring and backups. These are optional; see the note below before you add an SSL certificate.
You do not need a dedicated IP address for HTTPS. Every hosting plan already includes a free SSL certificate, and it works on a shared IP address — all current browsers support this. Only add a paid SSL certificate if you specifically need one (for example an organisation‑validated or wildcard certificate), and only add a dedicated IP if something you run genuinely requires its own address.

Step 4 — Review your order

Click Continue to reach Review & Checkout. Check the plan, the domain and the billing cycle. You can change the quantity, use Edit to go back and adjust the options, or remove the item entirely.

If you have a promo code, enter it under Apply Promo Code and click Validate Code — the discount is applied before you pay, not afterwards.

Step 5 — Pay

Click Checkout. If you are already signed in, your details are filled in for you; otherwise you can sign in or create an account on this page.

Choose how you want to pay — Mobile Money, card, PayPal, Paystack or bank transfer — complete the short spam check, tick I have read and agree to the Terms of Service, and click Complete Order.

What happens next

  • You get an order confirmation and an invoice by email straight away.
  • Once payment is confirmed, your account is set up and we email your hosting login details.
  • Bank transfer takes longer than the other methods, because the account is set up after the transfer clears.

Your services and invoices are always available in the client area.

Already a customer? Ordering another plan works exactly the same way — sign in first and your details are filled in automatically at checkout, and the new service is added to your existing account.

If anything does not look right during the order, open a support ticket before you pay and we will sort it out.
