cPanel Site Software (cPAddons)
The Site Software feature in cPanel allows you to install, manage, and upgrade cPanel Addons (cPAddons). These are pre-packaged applications that add functionality to your website.
Important Notice: cPanel has deprecated this interface in favor of Softaculous. For new installations, we recommend using Softaculous Apps Installer instead.
What Are cPAddons?
cPAddon software packages are applications that can be easily installed to add features to your website:
- Content Management - WordPress, Joomla, Drupal
- Forums - phpBB, SMF
- E-commerce - Magento, osCommerce
- Blogs - WordPress, b2evolution
- Wikis - MediaWiki
- Guest Books - Various scripts
Accessing Site Software
- Log into your cPanel account
- Navigate to the Software section
- Click on Site Software
Availability
This feature only appears if your hosting provider has enabled it. If you don't see Site Software in your cPanel, use Softaculous instead.
Important Notes
- cPanel does not develop or maintain the cPAddon software packages
- These packages are included only to facilitate distribution and installation
- For software support, refer to the individual application's documentation
- Always keep your installed applications updated for security
